CTF 42 Lausanne Competition Rules

Welcome to the CTF 42 Lausanne competition! This event is designed to challenge and enhance your cybersecurity skills in a fun, competitive environment. Please read the following rules carefully to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Platform Access

URL: ctf.42lausanne.ch
Registration: All participants must register on the platform with the 42 intra to compete.
Availability: The platform will be accessible throughout the duration of the competition, and in free mode shortly after.

General Rules

- No Brute Force Attacks: Participants are prohibited from using brute force attacks against the platform and any challenge.

- No Directory Listing: Directory listing or scanning on the platform and within challenge infrastructure is strictly forbidden.

- Flag Placement: Flags are not hidden in the infrastructure of the CTF platform. They are contained within the challenges themselves.

- No Flag Exchange: Exchanging flags with other participants is not allowed.

- Peer Learning: While direct flag sharing is prohibited, we encourage peer-learning.

- Fair Play: Any form of cheating, use of unauthorized tools, or exploitation of unintended vulnerabilities in the CTF platform will result in disqualification.

- Respect and Conduct: Participants must conduct themselves respectfully at all times. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Scoring

Points are awarded based on the difficulty of the challenges solved. The leaderboard will be updated in real-time on the platform.
